The new GMC Acadia is lighter than the previous generation by some 318 kilograms, thanks to super-hardened, high-strength steel which allow thinner, but equally safe, body structure. It will have available seating for between five and seven passengers, and be available with the GMC IntelliLink system, which supports both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The 2017 Acadia will also be available with a OnStar LTE Wi-Fi hotspot with a complementary three month or three gigabyte data trial.
The 2017 GMC Acadia will go on sale this spring across North America. Check out the trim levels and Canadian pricing for the 2017 GMC Acadia here.
2017 GMC Acadia All Terrain Off-Road Model
The 2017 GMC Acadia will be available in the elite Denali trim, as well as in an all-new All Terrain model. The centerpiece of the new All Terrain model will be the advanced all-wheel drive with Active Twin Clutch. Designed to achieve maximum traction under all road conditions (whether wet, snow, icy, or dry), this system also offers a specialty All Terrain driving mode which enhances the vehicle’s ability to tackle hills and other off-road obstacles.
Each All Terrain model features a body-colour grille surround, unique wheels, and black chrome trim, with All Terrain interior accents. This model will seat five, with storage containers in the rear in place of the third row seats.
