2018 Chevy Equinox Canadian Release Date
The Canadian release date for the 2018 Chevy Equinox is right around the corner in spring of 2017. This will also be the release date for the North America in general. Heated seats and remote start will be standard on all models available in Canada.
Equinox Structural Changes for 2018
Benefiting from a 10-percent decrease in weight thanks to structural changes, the 2018 Chevy Equinox should be able to offer even more interior comfort and exterior attractiveness. Projector-beam headlamps will be standard, while the exterior look echoes the designs of the 2016 Chevrolet Cruze and other models.
Powertrain Enhancements on the 2018 Equinox
The 2018 Chevy Equinox will also benefit from some significant powertrain enhancements. It will be available with a choice of three engine options, featuring a 1.5-litre turbo, a 2.0-litre turbo, and the segment’s first turbo-diesel in North America, checking in at 1.6-litres. This last engine should be able to deliver fuel consumption numbers as low as 5.9 L/100km with highway driving, while the other engine options also should deliver significant savings at the pump.
