This organization is made up of volunteer trail builders and trail users who aim to further develop trails in Winnipeg. This association if compiled of over 40 different organizations and partners who are focused on this cause. The site has a whole list of trails with maps so you can find the right route for your adventure. One of the these trails is the Bishop Grandin Greenway Trail.
Bishop Grandin Trail East
This particular trail is the longest multi-use trail and it spans just over 12 km. The trail has asphalt surfacing, parking, washrooms and many points of interest. These points of interest include Fort Garry Bridge Park, Butterfly gardens, fruit orchard, community gardens, public art named ‘land/mark’, eco-education site, Louis Riel Sr. Route, Bois Des Esprits Trail System and Sage Creek Trail. All of these exciting sites are full of beautiful Winnipeg wilderness. This is just one of the many trails available. You could even challenge yourself to hit every trail this summer!
