With the announcement of the 2017 Chevy Equinox Special editions available later this year, we are wondering if other special edition Chevy SUVs will be available in Canada. We don’t have any solid information about this yet, but we know that Chevrolet is expanding the U.S. production of special edition 2017 Chevy SUVs, and it’s possible that this new inventory will be available in Canada as well.

What special edition 2017 Chevy SUVs may be available in Canada?
We have an entire post about the 2017 Chevy Equinox special editions that will be available in Canada (classic black Midnight and Summit White Sport models), but what other special edition 2017 Chevy SUVs can we hope for? According to recent Chevrolet announcements, the U.S. market will be getting not only the 2017 Chevy Equinox specialty models, but also special edition 2017 Trax and 2017 Traverse models.
2017 Trax Midnight Edition
The Trax Midnight Edition, which was introduced in 2016, seems scheduled to return on the refined 2017 model, though we don’t have an estimated time for that. We would be surprised if the 2016 edition was the only run of this popular option. Like the Equinox and Chevy Silverado Midnight Editions, this model will be completely blacked out, including the wheels and the front Chevrolet bow-tie.
2017 Chevy Traverse Graphite
Available only on the 2LT model (and with all the advantages of that advanced trim), the Graphite Edition of the 2017 Chevy Traverse will feature 20-inch Dark Charcoal wheels, black Chevrolet bow-tie branding, an integrated step assist and dual exhaust. Exterior color options will be Mosaic Black Metallic, Tungsten Metallic, Siren Red, and Iridescent Pearl. We enjoy this confident new look on the popular Traverse.
