The Portage Credit Union Centre will be hosting their annual Louis Riel Day celebration on February 20 from 1-4 p.m. The event promises to be fun for the whole family, with both indoor and outdoor activities planned. Assiniboine Park Zoo

If you don’t mind an hour-ish drive, the Assiniboine Park Zoo is a great place to have some family fun with your loved ones on Louis Riel Day. It’s what the holiday is all about, after all! The zoo will be open from 9 a.m.-4 p.m and will host players from the Manitoba Moose hockey team.
