Even as a smaller town, Portage la Prairie is home to a large selection of beautiful local parks. Island Park and Crescent Lake is a gorgeous setting any time of year, but especially so in the months of September, October, and November. The trees combined with the crystal-clear water make for a spectacular site to kick back and relax on a bench or a blanket.
