Below, we have a few places to celebrate Remembrance Day 2016 near Portage La Prairie MB, including estimated times and locations.
Portage La Prairie Remembrance Day Ceremony
Last year’s Remembrance Day Ceremony in Portage La Prairie MB was held at the PCU Centre at 11 a.m. We weren’t able to find a concrete time for this year’s celebration, but we assume that it will be the same place and time on Friday, November 11, 2016. Please arrive at the PCU Centre by 10:30 a.m. so that everyone can be seated early and the ceremony can start on time.
Brandon MB Remembrance Day
The Brandon Remembrance Day Service 2016 will be held from 10 a.m. to noon at Westman Place Keystone Centre. Attendees are asked to be seated by 10:20 a.m.
On Friday, November 11, the RCA Museum at CFB Shilo will also have an open house with free admission from 11:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. Adults (18+) will need to present a photo ID to enter the base. Please enter through the north gate if you are coming for Remembrance Day.
Remembrance Day 2016 Events in Winnipeg MB
Like Brandon, Winnipeg will also have a few opportunities to honour veterans and service personnel this Remembrance Day. All of these happen on November 11, 2016.

- Winnipeg Remembrance Day Service – 10:15 a.m. – RBC Convention Centre at 375 York Avenue
- Royal Winnipeg Rifles Remembrance Day Ceremony – 10:30 a.m. – Vimy Ridge Memorial Park on Portage Avenue at Home Street
