One event that we are particularly excited about is the William Glesby Centre Raise the Roof golf tournament in Portage la Prairie. This event is not only a great way to practice your golf game, but it’s also a way to help raise money for a great cause. This fundraiser golf tournament will be taking place on May 28th, 2015 at the Portage Golf Course. All proceeds will go toward the roof repair at the William Glesby Centre. Registration begins at 11 a.m. and the tournament starts at noon. It costs $100 per person to golf and enjoy the banquet afterwards. This is the 14th annual William Glesby Centre Golf Tournament and they are hoping for another impressive turnout. It will be a full day of golf, an excellent meal, entertainment and prizes.

The William Glesby Centre is a charitable, nonprofit organization and they rely on grants and donations to provide entertainment to the Portage la Prairie Community. They have a variety of live performance all year long. This tournament will help allow the centre to continue bringing quality culture and art events to Portage la Prairie. The Trax will now be available with a stylish Midnight Edition, which will bring a little intimidating pizzaz to the already engaging and fun form of the Trax.

2016 Chevy Trax Midnight Edition Release Date

The Midnight Edition on the 2016 Chevy Trax will go on sale in North America in February 2016. No news yet when or if this vehicle will be hitting our lot here in Portage La Prairie, but it’s always exciting to see new, bold vehicle models coming out in our Chevy vehicles. “Introduced just a year ago, the Trax has quickly become an important vehicle for Chevrolet, bringing in new, younger and more female buyers to the brand,” said Betsy Flegg, senior marketing manager for Chevrolet Crossovers in a recent press release. “The small SUV segment is the fastest growing in the industry and models such as the new Trax Midnight Edition provides customers an expressive option.”

Trax Midnight Edition Details

Based on the LTZ trim, the 2016 Trax Midnight Edition will come with black wheels, bezels, beltline molding, and door handles. The rear license plate holder will also be black. The external colour, natually, will be black. In the interior, the seats will feature gray accents, while the floor mats will have gray piping, to allow the dark interior to pop. Previous vehicles that have received Midnight Editions include the 2016 Chevy Silverado and the 2016 Chevy Colorado.

Each Chevy Trax offers the handling and maneuverability of a small car with the utility of an SUV, including up to 1360 litres of cargo space. It also features a 1.4-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine which can deliver up to 6.9 L/100km for highway driving and zippy acceleration. It was announced earlier this year that the 2016 Chevy Camaro is being released soon. It is going to have a variety of exciting features, including new Chevy Camaro engine types. The 2016 Chevy Camaro is going to have some upgraded features that will make it perform even better than before. These engine options are just the tip of the excitement when it comes to new Chevy Camaro features.

The 2016 Camaro will has an all-new lineup of three engine options that will help complement this vehicle’s lighter and stronger structure. The first option is the 3.6L V6 engine which is available on the Camaro LT. This engine produces an SAE-certified 335 horsepower and 284 lb.-ft. of torque. It also includes new features like Active Fuel Management that helps the Camaro be more efficient.

The 2016 Camaro SS is powered by the Small Block 6.2L LT1 V-8 engine, with an output SAE-certified at 455 horsepower and 455 lb.-ft. of torque, which makes it the most powerful Camaro SS ever. The new LT1 cylinder head design features small combustion chambers which are designed to complement the volume of the unique topography of the pistons’ heads.

The third engine type is the Ecotec 2.0L Turbocharged four-cylinder engine. This engine provides 275 horsepower and 295 lb.-ft. of torque. It has a Dual Overhead Camshaft (DOHC) with continuously variable valve timing, direct injection with cam-driver high-pressure fuel pump, an air-to-air intercooling system and more!

The all-new electric Bolt has take the top honour in this annual award selection for its game-changing efficiency. Motor Trend Car of the Year Evaluation Criteria

Each vehicle evaluated by Motor Trend for their Car of the Year award is assessed according to six basic categories: striking design, quality engineering, fuel efficiency, safe construction and features, buyer value, and how well it performs as intended. The 2017 Chevy Bolt excelled in all of these criteria, offering an engaging and attractive style and excellent safety features. However, the top attraction for this excellent EV has to be its stunning driving range. It has been estimated by the U.S. EPA that this small electric vehicle will be able to go up to 383 kilometres on a single full charge.

Standard features on the 2017 Chevy Bolt include a 10.2-inch diagonal colour touch screen and a Regen on Demand paddle on the steering wheel. Elite models are available with leather-appointed seating, a Surround Vision Camera, heated seats, and much more.

Chevy Bolt Canadian Availability
